formating

The daughter has an HP laptop and she would like to put win 7 on but another [wont tell me who ] put 7 Pro on and cannot reg it, looked for one in Apps but no one has it in RG, so I need to re format the HD can someone educate me how to do it, would be grateful for help

A win install disk will allow you to format before you install the OS. You will need to boot from the install disk, and then do a custom install (It should tell you that this way you can format your HD). Good luck, wifester also has an hp laptop and I am doing the maintenance,

change boot priority in BIOS. usually means bashing DEL when you turn the comp on.

Instead of re-installing windows why not just use the most used activator tool?
Its called Windows Loader:

Just use that tool. Open it up and click install, when it’s done reboot the laptop and it should be activated. That way you don’t have to format the laptop and re-install windows on it
