XBOX 360 RAGE Update, will it harm my xbox

when i insert the RAGE xbox disk I am prompted for a update. will this harm my moded xbox? I have LT 2.0 on it right now. Thanks for the help, cant find much information on this.

Yes, it will mean you can no longer run pirated games unless you put the latest firmware back on,.

is there a update i can download and install without having to put a new firmware on my xbox? and that will allow me to play rage? thanks for the quick reply.

im sorry, but kind of new to this. not for sure what dash i have. i will look and try to figure which one i have.
