Xbox 360 media update

I need a help for something.. I flashed my xbox 360 with last flash ( i can play, new batman, mw 3,.., i don’t know what is the name for it) but when i plug in my USB device to watch a movie i get a message Status code: 51-C00F236!
I can download media update but is it going to affect on flashing?

no the media update dosent effect ur flashed box, just donwload it off ur conect to live
