What is the Motherboard?
So is that 2 x 2gig and 1 x 4gb stick?
In your motherboard book (bios book) it usually states certain configurations that you can and can’t use on a motherboard. Let me know the brand and model. Did you try swapping slots around?
I personally would of gone 2 x 4gb or 4 x 2gb.
Answer #4
Its a GIGABYTE M61PME-S2P <-Motherboard
Answer #5
1. 2 x 1.8V DDR2 DIMM sockets supporting up to 8GB of system memory (Note 1)
2. Dual channel memory architecture.
3. Support for DDR2 1066/800/667 MHz memory modules This is my motherboard:

Answer #7
OK you have something confused mate.
The motherboard model you gave me has to ram slots. So you isntalled 2 x 2gb to make the 4gig. First swap the ram around (change slots) its simple but can help.
Make sure the ram is seated properly.
I am guessing that you have messed with the bios. or you have bought DDR3 ram and nor DDR2. If you are sure you bought DDR2 then thats good. If you bought DDR3 there is your problem.
If you have been playing with the bios. Reset values to failsafe or factory. Start again. Dont change timing, are you trying to overclock?
If it can be set to auto (in bios) then set to auto.
Answer #8
No both RAMs are DDR2 Both are Dualsised 2GB 800mhz. And yes they are two RAMs each 2GB i didnot mess whit BIOS they are seated properly i will try swaping them now but dont know how its gonna help since Windows detects 3gb means it must be detecting both but only one is detected fully or something.
I didnt mess whit bios i set it to Load Optimized Settings i will try what you said and get back to you.
Answer #9
K mate. Just dbl check that the bios is reading 800 on the ram. Bios are usually right in detecting but nothing is perfect.
You sound like you mostly know what you are doing with setup. I am guessing that the ram is new? If all else fails 1 stick is faulty. Take them both to the store and have them checked. If you have a friend using windows 7 or x64 bit OS try their machine first. You probably know x86 os wont display 4gb ram. If a friend has 2 x 2gb try their ram in your pc. All this as you know will out rule possible causes
My hope is you didnt buy them online, thats always a pain with returns, the waiting.
PM me when your ready if you need to mate
EDIT
Check you have the latest BIOS. The latest for that board is F3A.
The chipset on that board is very outdated mate. If the bios driver isnt correct it may be reading the ram wrong.

Is it possible that Graphic Card is consuming the missing 1GB. The thing is mz graphic Card is Ati Radeon HD4650 1GB RAM when i go to Display Settings and Click adavnced it show me its using Dedicated 1gb and shared 1gb and total avalible memory is 2gb. Total memorz avalible for my graphic card should be only 1gb not 2 so i am wondering if the Graphic Card is consuming that 1gb from actual ram.
Look at the picture bellow:

Are you absolutely positively sure you running 64bit? Does it say 64bit in system properties. I can’t see any other explanation here.

This is what I keep telling myself Da. It has to be x86 he’s downloaded the wrong beta. All the other checks run clean.
