having problems with sli

im having constant crashes when sli is enabled. when disabled, problems were gone but that makes the card useless and reduses performance in games.
some games lets me 5-10 minutes some are longer like 30-40 mins and some are immediatly crashes when i started to play.
im playing bf hardline and i get directx error but im sure its because of sli. please help me.
i have latest version of the driver. and i tried clean installing many times.
another point is, cards’ bios versions are not same. is that might be a problem?
have you checked to see if both cards are actually running and the issue isn’t one of the cards?
yes they are both running i enabled with nvidia control panel.
and when i checked the temperature, its getting high. when sli is disabled it stays cool. this means they are running, right?
