Organize music files

February 2nd, 2020

Hi guys,
Over the years I’ve created a massive collection of mp3 files, albums, etc .. . Problem is ofcourse I have thousands of double files, nothing organized, etc.. . In fact its just one harddisk full of music files but you’ll be able to find a Mozart track in the same folder as Guns’n’Roses. Is there any program existing that can clean up the mess a bit ? A program that makes a database out of all your music, where you can delete the double tracks, and maybe replace files (f.ex. put all the albums of a group in the same folder). Or is the only way to do it manually ?? Grtz G.

I reckon MediaMonkey is your best bet. The Free version can do what you’ve asked for but there might be a wee bit of manual work involved.

The Gold version of MediaMonkey can automate the organising of your media files if you find the Free version a bit too tedious. You can get it at the below link.

Hope this helps. Cheers.
