Help: External Hard Drive not copying Files (Windows 8)

i just got a new laptop, its a lenovo with win 8 installed.
Well ive tried to copy files to my external hard drive and it never happens, ive tried to repair the HDD and it comes up with error.
Still works on my win7 pc
Anyone know a solution? Thanks

thanks but thats not it.
I can view the files but cant open/move anything on it.
I tried a memory stick and thay works fine (both are FAT32)
