Install Windows 7 Beta on USB External Hard Drive [SOLVED]

January 27th, 2020

I hate vista it is destroying me, i haven’t touched my HP Pavilion M8200N in 2 months, it BSOD 1/2 times, freezes boots up and restarts because even before im connected to the web it restarts for updates, when i get to the login screen after restarting to install the updates in the bottom it says restart for updates to take affect so I AM DONE. I was wondering if I could install the Windows 7 beta on an external hard drive and boot from it. I also have another question: If I install Windows 7 on my primary internal HDD could I go back to the begining with the restore disks I made the first time I booted up my computer?
Thanks In Advance

Short answer, YES.
Just set your BIOS up on what you want it to read first. VIA USB and it will boot up. Some computers are set by default to check CD/ROM(or floopy), then USB, then HDD so you may not need to set it up on your BIOS.
