External Hard Drive

I’m plannin on buyin a new one…..hopefully somethin like 500GB…..I want to know what to look for in an external hard drive……(like how many mbps it should be, etc.)……and another thingz that go into a good external hd.

I have a Ceedo Seagate 500gb external drive & I’ve never had a problem with it.
Only prob I had was I bought it for �130 from Maplin, then looked in the shop, literally two weeks later, to find it selling for �69! …gutted
I also have a 120gb Ceedo Seagate (from the same range) which also has been perfect.
