Icons do not disappear after deletion

August 3rd, 2016

I’m using Windows 7 Ultimate, I have this problem recently, when I delete or move a file, its icon do not disappear in the original folder until I hit refresh.
When I delete a picture from My Documents, the icon is still there, but when I double click it, Windows says there isn’t such a file there. But the icon is there !
Same thing when I move it.When I move it to desktop, i can see the icon on the desktop, but there is also an icon at the original folder and it remains there until a refresh.
When I refresh the folder it disappears. But it should disappear as soon as it is deleted, or moved.
Any solutions to this ? Any help would be wonderful.

The last time I read about it the source couldn’t be isolated, people offered some solutions, they worked for some and didn’t work for the others. And people expected a hotfix for this.
It was here somewhere, if I remember correctly
