Youtube account deletion

Not sure if anyone has tried this or may know the answer.. I never seem to get replies to my helpdesk questions lol. If I delete my Youtube account will I then be able to make a fresh account using the same email address which I used to create the old account with?

No, at least not straight away, I tried and it kept bringing up my old one. It might work if you wait a few months.

strange, i changed my account a few month ago by deleting my first 1 then creating a new one with the same email. got no errors at all.

I know your old uploaded videos stay online for a while after you delete your account, Maybe its something to do with that

Then why don’t you just delete the videos before you delete the acc?

I had the same problem like you, this is what i did:
– Create a new e-mailadres.
– Change the e-mailadres of your current YT account to the new one so your old e-mailadres is available again.
– Create a new YT account with the old e-mailadres.
I did it that way, had no probs with it
