August 5th, 2016
found this on google :
I HAVE THE SOLUTION.
This happened to me and i called a dell support guy and he fixed it!!!
This is what you do...
Start the Run Command Prompt
Type in "regedit" without the parrenthesis then click ok
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Then SYSTEM
Then CURRENT CONTROL SET
Then CONTROL
Then CLASS
Then find {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
The whole thing looks like this:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
Then delete the upper and lower filters....
RESTART YOUR COMPUTER THEN THERE YA GO!!!! HOPE THIS HELPS
i try this before but there are no upper and lower filter..i only see (default), Class, ClassDesc, EnumpropPages32, IconPath, Installer32, NoinstallClass and SilentInstall..but never find upper and lower filters…
try checking in bios setting…….see if it detect dvd drive in there.
yes,the dvd is still there..i still manage to eject this DVD and there are light on the DVD rom every time i restart/open the computer..
try device manager and see if it there.
no,still not there..but when i push the button eject button on my dvd rom and click scan for hardware changes on the device manager..my dvd will automatically eject..
look like there something problem with your dvd drive…..try removing your dvd drive for a moment……on the pc….then off…….attch the dvd drive back…….see what happen.
actually i use laptop and do not know how to remove my dvd..the situation become worse..it took very long time for me to boot my laptop..and this symbol appears “_” and blinking before window start..do you think this is virus?
Usually the DVD-ROM devices are automatically detected and they’re just plug&play, but you may want to try installing drivers.Windows 7 can mess up your OEM information when doing updates maybe.Go to your DVD-ROM’s manufacturers site, and look for a driver.If there is one, you should probably make your Windows 7 recognize your DVD-drive.If there is no driver available, try contacting them via e-mail and tell them about your problem.
The long-time boot is probably because Windows is trying to identify an unknown device and can’t come up with a definition.
i guess……there might be problem with the windows….
first try instal kaspersky i think that is a virus damage, if u dont sucsses try repair your windows
