External Drive

Help please, I have a 500GB FreeAgent-Desk external drive. It shows that I have 439GB left in free space. I’m using Rapid Share once the materials I’m looking for are found. At this point everything is okay, I’m able to download but My Winrar compressed files are not showing up in my external drive. Will some one please walk me thru my dilema step by step I’m an Idiot.

well where is your download manager set to store the files?
go to your browser, find where the files go and voila, then copy paste to external HD.
