XBox 360 to DVI

So my family got an Xbox 360 for Christmas =) I wanted to connect it to my LCD, and so I looked around and saw some cheap HDMI to DVI cables on ebay:

First question, will I be able to play my XBox 360 on my LCD Monitor with this cable? My monitor is also HDCP compliant.
Second question: how do I get sound? My monitor doesn’t have speakers, but I have a computer sound system with the usual 1/8″ connector (I think). What connectors should I use to connect the xbox to the sound system?

my best guess is that your not going to be able to do the sound thing unless u can find one that has dvi and then the red and white cords for sound
