Sorry if this is a stupid question but I have to ask. Currently I live in USA and have a Region Free modded Xbox. All the console games that have recently come out are either PAL or NTSC. Can I play NTSC games on my modded xbox I have here in USA? What about PAL games? What happens if no Region Free release comes out for a game? What do you guys do?

have a Region Free modded Xbox <- you just answer your own questioned. You can play any format PAL or NTSC. Region free games of course any system can play this type of Format as it has no lock to it.

There’s no mod that makes a console region free afaik.
I heard of a device called Cygnos 360 V2, with a J-tagable 360, you can run 2 or maybe 3 kernels with that 360.
The kernels you guessed right, has a possibility of getting other region ones. Its a tricky process though.

Obviously it means that the console isn’t NTSC…either that or you don’t know how to burn an X360 game.
I have burned over 30 plus games before but they were all Region Free. I decided to just try NTSC this time. I also thought PAL works in Europe only?

Try burning a PAL format disc and test it with that. If it work, it is not a free region console. It is a PAL region console. If you burn a disc that is Region Free, it will work on either PAL or NTSC consoles.
PAL will work anywhere if the console is PAL. What message are you getting when you try to play the NTSC game?
I put the disc in the 360 and it loads the disc but it just stays at the Xbox 360 logo screen. The dvd burned successfully 4x with IMGburn. I will try and just test it with PAL. Like said maybe my console is PAL.

That’s your problem. It has AP2.5 (Antipiracy 2.5) checks enabled, and therefore it will NEVER play on your console regardless of what you do. Additionally, your console has been flagged and will likely be banned when MS issues the next ban wave.

first step is giving us some info on your xbox any adverts or something or a friend who modded it? if you bought it “region free” im guessing it was preflashed… chances are if it was a year ago as you mentioned its well and truely using an old flash and you will need to update it. there are so many steps involved in this so its really not easy to explain but google about and you will see… just note you will have to take your xbox apart and conect the dvd drive via SATA to your pc. its the only way…
the next step is burning the games you MUST burn on dual layer discs (obvious as they are the only ones that fit) use only DVD+R DL (-r wont work) and always include a layer break of 1913760 . also since your banned you really dont have to worry about this but if you werent you would also want to check every single download you get with abgx360GUI worth running if an image is corrupt or you want to check if its legit and what version of security it uses etc

Yes, iXtreme firmware is just a bogus DVD drive firmware that doesn’t do anything with the Xbox 360 Kernel.

That won’t make your console region free, you still have to switch kernels which isn’t region free.

Yeah…you can make it so your console is any region you want, but you can’t have it be region free.
