Windows Security Center: Windows Firewall

July 26th, 2016

Well, I have the program bitcomet. I want to download some torrents but the speed isn’t as fast as it can be because firewall isn’t allowing it full access. Well, to fix this, I need to access Windows Firewall from Control Panel >> Windows Security Center >> Windows Firewall, but this is what I get when I try to open Windows Firewall.

Hmmm, i dunno. SOunds silly, but have you tried restarting and trying it again. Or can you simply disable windows firewall without opening it up?

I can’t, I’ve been trying for the past two weeks and I haven’t been able to open it. I think it might have been a problem since a bit longer than that, since I have never tried opening Windows Firewall until I needed to two weeks ago.
Or can you simply disable windows firewall without opening it up?

That’s not even possible since I can’t even open Windows Firewall. Plus, if I completely turn off everything, I’m afraid I may be vulnerable to viruses or any other back things.
Answer #3
Hmmm, yeh sorry, thats about the extent of my help. Im not a fan of torrents at all, you cant just get it from here???
Anyways, good luck and hopefully someone else can help you with your problem
Answer #4
I could get the albums from here, but that would take some time. I don’t have a RS account, so it’s very limited. Where as with a torrent, I could get the whole discography all in one.
Answer #5
you been in services.msc and stoped a few serice’s ?
but just keep it disable mine is it’s not helping anyway (windows firewall = 0)
or try look in options can be bittorrent is disabling it,
i know that can be done in utorrent.
Answer #6
The program I’m using is called Bitcomet. IF it disabled my Windows Firewall, the icon status would be at green. When it’s at orange, it means that your Firewall is not giving it full access.
Btw, what’s services.msc?
Answer #7
services.msc run it, to see a list of all service’s
you on a router ?
Answer #8
Exactly what am I looking for in services.msc? I ran it but don’t know what to look for.
