Pidgin Security alert windows firewall pop up

Last night i logged in pidgin instant messenger program on my laptop. It has bin very long time since i logged in pidgin. I think it was few months
Anyway after few mins i logged in pidgin. This simlar windows firewall box popped up. Plz note i got this image from google image.

Any1 hav any idea y that windows firewall box popped up. Cuz has i rember this box nvr pops up when i used pigin in the past

just block it, and if pidgin still works, then it’s all good.
Have u scanned your computer for viruses lately?
Why don’t u use the firewall that comes with your antivirus program?

When that box popped up i clicked “Keep blocking”
Pidgin works fine
Yup i done a full scan on malware bytes last night and 2day and no virus”s nothing. Everything fine.
The anti virus i use is free avast. which is fine
