Which do you guys think is better? ArcSoft or Cyberlink?

July 31st, 2016

Seems like everytime I try a copy of CyberLink PowerDVD Ultra
http://www.google.com?t=16009576&highlight= there is always some kinda buggy-ness to the program, not too mention the program is kinda limited in freedom. It does not even have hotkeys for pan&scanning or other features like that.
I don’t think I have really tried ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre

I just would like the general consensus on what player I should use to watch my BluRay or 3D movie media from?
I personally use MPC-HC with SVP sometimes, I think that program has lots of freedom!
And it’s free!!!
Just looking for a alternate

Cyberlink is one of those crappy commercial softwares that always used to come pre-installed (don’t know if it still is) with new PCs along with Nortons bloatware anti-virus ….. I always uninstalled both.
Although I haven’t tried it for a long time (I just use Media Player Classic Home Cinema now) I used to use WinDVD Pro which was ten times better than Cyberlink.
You can find it here if you want to give it a go ………… Although, I don’t know what it’s like since Corel took it over, but it apparently does play blueray.

IMHO as Sid has said about crappy commercial softwares that always used to come pre-installed, I always believe there is a reason for this.. It is crap, bloat ware & stuff that can’t sell retail. otherwise why would it come pre installed & / or included on driver disks.
Give Arcsoft a try
