January 10th, 2019
EDIT:
I downloading Asus Eee PC 701 Xandros Restore Disk from The Pirate Bay. If i don’t like it, i will load Windows XP Image.
I hate Linux. I’m not installing never again.
Don’t hate it just because you don’t understand it. It’s so much better than any Micro$haft product unless you’re not at all computer saavy
How to convert Partition back to NFTS from USB?
Just know that if you install Windows XP, you will be re-installing in April 8, 2014, when XP is dead.
Also, I would never recommend Linux for a desktop/laptop over Windows.
Looking at your device, it seems to only have 512 MB of RAM. You should probably think about upgrading your device to something more modern. Otherwise, you use Linux, or the soon to be unsupported XP.
Problem is, that i cannot install Linux from USB. Installation stopped. I tried Ubuntu and Lubuntu version. Which Linux version do you recommend for this laptop?
Might you have an external cd/dvd drive?
Alternatively, you can give this distro a shot if you think its a Debian issue:

I install Peppermint Linux from USB with Rufus and it works. I have to remove SD Card before installation. Good and fast OS.
