I’ve been trying for a few days to install Linux Ubuntu 10.04 on my laptop… I’ve downloaded several versions already, first downloaded the desktop version, didn’t work, then the lucid desktop one, didnt work either, also tried one from WBB but no luck either.. My last attempt was netbook version, all latest releases from official website.. The problem is, it installs in windows without a problem, blabla asks me to reboot.. i go and choose ubuntu boot, then it goes on to complete the instalation.. all goes normal until 79%, it freezes and doesn’t let me move the mouse or any command at all, forcing me to turn off my laptop by holding the button several seconds.. What would the problem be? i have enuff space and all.. i have 27GB left on the partition im installing it.. also tried in other that has about 15GB left.. what can i do? =/
