Some wii questions.

Hey. If for example I wanted to play burned games in a wii, what would I need to do. I just bought it (black wii) and I don’t want to take the risk in bricking it. Btw, can you tell me the chance of bricking it and why would it brick. I think it is fw 4.2.

To play burned games, you’re going to need a modchip. You can look for modchips, simply by googling “mod chips”. Your Wii probably won’t brick, I’ve played 100+ burned games on my Wii, and 360 and they have never bricked.

I didnt know anything about that, and I have been trying to find something that I could use that wouldnt require hardware. I am trying it right now, and if anyone is interested in how it goes, I will leave a report on what I did and how it worked if interested.

Yea I’m going to research it well before I begin to do it, but I’ve modded my XBox in a similar way and it worked pretty well. I will let you guys know how difficult it is, and whether it’s actually worth doing.
Thanks for the words of caution. I will use complete restraint in order to make sure that my one and only Wii doesnt get dumped on
