(SOLVED) a video as a screensaver? (Windows XP)

January 28th, 2020

My friend claims to have a Dawn of War video as his screensaver.
Is it possible to make a video as a screensaver?
PS: I’m willing to download programs that arn’t incredibly large.

You could make your own with Screensaver factory. Just do a search for it on here.

heres a little program i wrote a while ago that does just that
http://~ Dead file host ~/files/160472581/vid_as_scr.zip
extract them into your system32 directory, and open vid_as_src.cfg to point to the video file you want
havent used this for ages, cant guarantee it works, pm me if you have problems
edit: just dug up my source code, and it appears to use the windows media player control, and may have problems with newer versions
