Does Sky HD have a screensaver for Plasma tv buyers

its really for preventing it from having image retention when a tv program is paused

You won’t get image retention on a modern plasma unless you pause for more than about 30-40 minutes at a time.
Some TV’s do have their own built-in ‘savers’ – check its set-up to see if it’s enabled. Also, check the sky box set-up, maybe it has a saver to enable?

I’ve never seen one using my SKY HD box, however, as Fluffbutt said, it would have to be paused for a very long time to do any damage. My TV has it’s own saver if the image goes off or is the same for more than about 20 mins.
