putting games on my xbox 360 Hard Drive

I wanted to put games on my 360.
I know that I still need the DVD
I want to reduce the DVD errors
Please
I need a step by step guide through this and what file to put and where to put it ( iso or what? )

When you’ve put a disc in the DVD tray of your Xbox 360, go to the My Xbox part and on the option to Play the Game in the drive, press the Y button.
Then select Install to Hard Drive.
Every time you then play the game, it will run from the hard drive not the DVD.
Until you delete if from the Hard Drive that is.
