Xbox 360 Hard Drive Backup

I want to get a new hard drive for my Xbox 360 but not the official one as it is too expensive. I have seen tutorials online on youtube that show how to open the xbox up and put a new (bigger) hard drive in and how to use the software but I don’t know where to get the software from. I don’t go on Xbox Live so I am not worried about the banning issue and if I ever wanted to go online I could always put my old official hard drive back in.
Does anybody know where I can get this software or at least what it is called so I can look for it?
