My computer wont boot

January 27th, 2020

My mate gave me this computer to try fix and i can’t seemto figure out what the problem is.
basicly i turned the computer on it booted fine and got to the desktop and turned off. now whenever i turn it on it will stay on for about a second or two then turn off.
i have tried a new powersupply, so it can’t be that and i am not sure what else it could be
any ideas?
thanks

Answer #1
It could be heat related…Or it could be a driver that’s conflicting with something…

Do you see any green or red lights flickering when u boot up?
If it refuses to boot at all, then it may be due to Mother Board problem.
Answer #3
does it reboot or just turn off altogether, if it reboots it may be that the cpu is getting too hot (it reboots to protect the cpu from burning up)

btw i there is only a green light on the motherboard to show that it is on.
