Mac OSX SSD installed issue

August 4th, 2016

Hi all,
I didn’t know how to title my post, so i chose the words of my issue anyway.
The problem/issue is: I bought a new Mac Mini computer which is late 2012, but it came with normal HDD 1TB, and i bought a kit online where i can place another drive inside this Mac Mini, so i installed SSD drive with that kit setup, but the problem is, i can’t install OSX on my SSD instead of my HDD, i don’t want to copy and transfer that OSX from HDD to SSD, i wanted to install new fresh OSX on SSD direct, but i failed to do anything i can, any guide about how i can do that successfully?

From what you said what are you using to install OSX on the SSD? Download the OS from the apple store an make a bootable usb an try that
Answer #3
Well, when i bought this Mac Mini, it came with 1TB HDD that has OSX, but when i tried to install OSX on SSD from USB it didn’t work, it goes into loop and takes hours for nothing, so i was thinking about formatting that HDD first so then the computer will have no any OS in it, but i also don’t know how to format from boot on Mac or if it will work.
Now i am trying to download that new OSX [Mavericks] and see what will happen.
