but both show noticeable loss in the quality when zoom in about ~4x.
Is there any software which compresses photos losslessly???
I use PhotoZoom Pro 3.0.6.

Isn’t that an enlarger, not a compressor?
You can’t really compress photos much lossless – the lossy compression is what gives you the small size.
What you can try is convert to png, with compression 9 (max).
Png is lossless, but level 9 will take about 2 mins per picture to save (presuming about 3200x?? resolution, about 1 min for 1280x??)
Use irfanview and batch save them all to a new folder as png level 9 (level 8 or 7 is not much bigger, but a bit less time to do!).
Advanced Batch Converter
I use photoshop.
Like Casey said, max PNG compression works miracles.
But 2GB isn’t even that much, why do you need to convert it to something smaller?

i use photoshop too but i think that it would be a pain, i dont think it has any batch feature
why have 2GB of used space when you can have one? some people don’t have the luxury of expensive external HD’s by the gallon.
