Lip sync issues

August 5th, 2016

As of late I have had movies and tv shows have the lip sync go out during the middle or near the start of a show. sometimes if I change from vlc to wmp it is ok.
( I even installed the new vlc version and still the same thing)
I have never had this issue before, and the only thing different I have done was install a couple of games. Could that be causing the issue?
also when I convert the lip sync has been thrown out a few times as well. ( I convert to wmp for xbox360) where I never had this problem before either.

Doubt its the media players if there both doing it. Try KMplayer instead of VLC. You can download a portable version here http://www.filesavr.com/kmportablekm293123

try defrag’n your hdd
Answer #3
Ok thanks.
I will give both a go.

For a time I’d just download the first rar so I could check the quality + audio sync-ness of the movie/tvprog before downloading the rest. Though with all the double rarring that’s going on, and the infrequency of outofsyncness, and also the “queue ’em all up and go back to bed while everything downloads” that I like doing, well I’ve stopped doing that. Maybe it’s something you could try if you’re finding many-many sync fkups.
Answer #5
My guess is that your just using too much processor, while watching and while encoding.

I have a q6600 2.4gig processor, it should be fine. I did a big clean up of my hdd, and got a defrag program so will see how that goes.
