Iphone 3G 3.0 OS – MMS problem

When I take a picture, it is not giving me the option of sending via text message (MMS).
Anybody else experiencing this issue? I am with AT&T,
I heard that they do not have the MMS option yet, but still in the works.
Edit – AT&T is gonna release it later this summer according to apple. Just found out.

yeah, as far as im aware it’s because no carriers support it yet

edit: at&t doesn’t have MMS yes

You can update the .ipcc (carrier) file for AT&T and it will allow the option to send via MMS, however the messages won’t go through due to AT&T not being ready yet.

not entirely true, at&t doesn’t support MMS yet because they are automatically DISABLED on any iphone plan…. with persuasion and a few good lies you can get MMS up and running on your iphone :-p
