That's the way...Convert to MP4 or 3GP... I have a converter but i have a load of simpsons, family guy episodes on my computer and i really don’t have the time to convert them all

converting is the only way! let your pc convert at night so it doesn’t take any of your time

If you use Total Video Converter, you can set it up to convert one after the other so as said, you can leave it working overnight. It also lets you convert to a smaller size video so it doesn’t take up as much space on your phone

Well the LG Cookie has a flash based OS so applications arent very compatible ( Java maybe?)
Your best solution is to convert them…

I know this isnt what your after but check if your phone can play h.264 encoded mp4’s if so you wont need to transcode just mux.
Codec support is more important than container support.

NO DUDE!!! there is a player. its called CorePlayer!!!!
it CAN play .mkv and .avi and everything else
just search on the pirate bay. they have it there.
but remember each phone has a seperate version, so make sure you download the correct one with the crack.!!!!!

If you read my question properly; it says that if there is a a video player for my mobile to play AVI, MKV etc. So it does not mention anything about converting videos as i already know that i can convert them :S
