How to install subtitles to an .avi file ?
January 27th, 2020
Well, do you want the subtitles to be hard-coded into the .avi file or just as a seperate subtitle file?
The subtitles should be added to the film automatically if you have the subtitle file inside the directory with the video file.
To create subtitles you can use SubCreator.
Not sure if that’s what you needed, but hope it helped.
Edit: re-read, I’d see if you can import .srt or any other subtitle file to your favourite video editor, then just export the avi with subtitles on (if you can do that, not entirally sure).
i think it definitely works this way:
suppose your avi file’s name is
‘Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes.avi’,
then you got subtitles file .srt for it, then make sure you rename the something.srt to
‘Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes.srt’ and make sure its in same folder as that of ‘Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes.avi’
then try running the avi with some media player and it will automatially detect the subs

just name the .srt (subtitles) the same as the .avi, a decent video player will link it automatically
