This sort of thing can do the trick…
Check out this link.It may do what you want.
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MKVtoolnix
1.Install MKVtoolnix (it creates a desktop link to MKVmergegui).
2.Extract the files from MKVExtractgui to the same folder as (1)
MKVExtractgui will Demux an MKV file.
MKVmergegui will remux the files.

Get MKVMerge GUI and load the file and disable the subtitle track and then re-save it.
That doesn’t look like a subtitle unless it’s graphic format. It looks like it could be a logo embedded into the video which you wouldn’t be able to remove easily.
I don’t see why you need to remove the subs though, they can be useful and can be easily disabled. Do the subs always play? Maybe that logo is a forced subtitle and the main subtitles are not. ie two separate subtitle tracks and one forced. That can be altered using MKVMerge if you select the subtitle and then look at the settings.
MediaInfo will show what subs are in the file.

Nel provided a link to the program, it’s part of the MKVToolnix package as he has already mentioned. When you load the video file you can check how the subs are setup. They might be forced or default which can mean they get played. I like to have subs set to off, not default and not forced when I add subs to a MKV video. They should only play if enabled IMO. Check the options before you do anything and set the header removal compression to disabled to maximize any hardware compatibility. However, it might slightly increase the filesize if it was enabled in the original video. MediaInfo can show whether it was or not.

You can most likely edit the subs themselves with Aegisub.
