how i can edit videos to cut un-wanted scenes easily & visually

hi all,
i am using Win 8.1, i want a utility software to cut / remove any part/scene from a movie/video file visually & easily.
please help me with guidance and link of that program.

The easiest way is with Movie maker, you don’t need any other pro software and big programs just for that.

SolveigMM Video Splitter is also very good for use with mp4’s and mkv’s
avidemux (latest version) is also very good
both are quick as the only re encode at cuts where there is no key frame
