How to sharpen and edit videos / clips etc…

Hi, does anybody know some software or something like that, that can sharpen videos or get them to better resolution. ?/ pls help !!

improving resolution is not an easy thing to do as it is difficult to get detail out of nothing. It’s all guesswork. There are a few programs that claim to do it but from the samples I have seen, the results are not that impressive. The programs are not readily available either.
Sharpening can be done, that is fairly easy. VirtualDubMod can do that using suitable plugins. The best way is to use AVISynth and AvsP and find a decent sharpening filter.
You can even sharpen video using Media Player Classic Home Cinema and ffdshow codec. MPCHC can use the video card to perform sharpening in real time.
