How To check/filter nude scenes in a movie

August 5th, 2016

When I download movies I watch them using my DVD player. But unfortunately when I’m watching them I don’t get to watch it alone and I get kinda too embarrassed when there are nude scenes on those movies .
Is there any way I can get to know whether the movies I download and watch has nude scenes or not? or is there any solution to filter these contents when I’m burning them to a DVD?

Answer #1
I think it’s impossible… (correct me if I’m wrong)
But I see it can be very embarrassing…

Unfortunatly there is no certain way to find out unless you actulually watch the movie, if you check IMDB, there is usually something though that tells you if there are nude parts in a movie, but not always.
Answer #3
Go to the IMDB page of the movie, and then click on “View content advisory for parents”..
There you’ll find if the movie has any nude scenes, and when they occur..
However, you’ll have to cut them manually using a video-editing program to remove them..

Well thanks for your help.Alex, I think your method is the least best way to figure it out hehe thanks for that.
Is there any other alterative/s?
Has anyone heard of the v-chip technology?

The V-Chip reads information encoded in the rated program and blocks programs from the set based upon the rating selected by the parent.
Unfortunately, when you download pirated movies the rippers don’t bother to encode that rating information, so it won’t help.. This chip doesn’t automatically detect nude scenes, but it depends on a rating information embedded into TV programs or DVD movies..
So unfortunately, there isn’t any solution, except manually removing those scenes.

Well dont show kids R rated movies, you shouldnt either way. There is a reason why MPAA came up with the rating system.

there is a “ClearPlay DVD player” that edits out profanity, violence, sex and nudity on DVD’s. but it probally not wont work with downloaded movies….
The device creates filtering information on a movie-by-movie basis, and parents can load the filters into the DVD player using a USB stick.
Filters for the latest DVD releases can be constantly updated, providing adults with control over what they and their children watch.
The ClearPlay DVD player includes more than 2,500 ClearPlay movie filters and a subscription to 12 months of unlimited updates as new titles are released.
