Equalizing HDMI sound output on desktop?

January 24th, 2020

Windows 7. I’m running a Gigabyte HD7950 through my desktop to my living room tv. I’m wondering if there is a way to equalize the sound coming from the HDMI cable to the tv. I use it for netflix, pandora, blu rays… etc., Of course, if I were to use the sound off of the motherboard I would have all kinds of digital soundfield options, DTS and things of that nature I could use but was wondering if those options are available thru hdmi… Any prog’s for this?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Dfx enhancer is a stand alone that sits between the source and whatever your default sound device is (or the device you select).
So I would think it should work through hdmi sound OK.

Found this equalizer here that says it can do stand alone but I have found that some of those sort of things only work properly as a plug in(for Winamp or whatever).
But you could give it a whirl.
