computer building help

This is only the second computer that I have built. I hooked up all of the different components according to the install manual that came with the motherboard. When I turn it on the 2 case fans and the cpu fan all turn on. But there is no picture on the monitor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H AMD785G Socket AM2+ MB AMD Athlon II X2 250 3Ghz 2MB AM3 CPU
Coolmax 600W 14CM Blue LED Fan PSU w/ single PCI-E Just some of the stuff thought it might help.

Check that all the components are hooked up right, no picture could be just a loose graphics card or loose RAM.

Well, you may need to post a little bit more information about it as well. Please list the HDD, The graphic card, ETC.
Are there any beeps when you turn the system on? Do you have every peripheral hooked up to the motherboard? Note that every peripheral won’t get to be plugged in, I’m talking about important wise. Most monitors show a “no connection” output when something isn’t plugged in. Is this the case for yours, Or is it completely blank?
Make sure you have each peripheral hooked up completely to the motherboard, make sure each peripheral is hooked up to the correct areas.
