so i’m building a computer and after i bought the componants i realised the mobo has a single 8 pin 12v connector but the PSU has 2x 4 pin 12v connectors, is it safe to use just one of the 4 pin connectors on the PSU or do i need some sort of adapter?
any help would be much appreciated! thanks =

You don’t need any adapter, Use em both!
That’s what it’s for. It’s 4+4 detachable for universal compatibility.
