Just got a PS3, Got Some Questions

If the ps3 is on power save mode, will my demo that I am downloading still finish or will it pause? Do I have to keep the ps3 on the entire time for the demo to finish?
My other question is should I keep the ps3 vertical or should I put it flat down? If I put it vertically, will it effect disc read and stuff like that?

If it’s a fatty, keep it vertical, if it’s slim, keep it horizontal.

Not sure what you mean by that power saver mode thing, if you mean the thing where it turns off after X hours of inactivity, then that only works if your not doing anything. If a game is currently playing\downloading\media is playing then it won’t turn off.
Also if its the slim keep it laying flat, the fat not sure i never had it.

1. I’m pretty sure that you have to keep the ps3 on. You also can’t watch DVD/Bluray or play games while downloading the demo because it’ll pause the downloading process.
2) Put it whichever way you like. [/b]It will not affect disc read if you put it vertically.

I’m not 100% sure about actual DVD\blurays, but if your watching things off a usb you can, because usually when downloading demos it gives you the option to download in the background.
But like i said not sure about the dvd\bluray phyiscal disk thing though, because that takes the whole system over and restarts it.

Yeah. I meant watching them from the physical disk itself. Watching it off USB will not stop the downloading process.
