Xbox 360 LT+ 2.0 question about new games

i updated my xbox fw to LT+ 2.0 i havent been online since the first ixtreme (not LT) can i play and update my games and my xbox from the games that i download because there is a new update that prevents from playing bacups. they say it only comes from xbox live but if im banned and connected and i get an update from a game disc will it still prevent me from playing bacups? i havent updated my xbox fro a year since the first major update.

I imagine if you are banned but still have your ethernet connected MS may still be able to silently update your dae.bin just to screw you over further. The dae.bin is the file that MS silently (without you knowing. No messages appear or anything) updates on your xbox. It adds new ap2.5 checks and is unique to each console. So it stops random XGD3 and ap2.5 games working. If your dae.bin has been updated there are workarounds to still get games to play. The only way to not have your dae.bin updated is by not connecting to live as they will instantly update it.
If i was you i would just disconnect the xbox from the internet altogether and if you want to get game updates then get yourself a memory stick, format it on the xbox. Then download your updates from:
http://www.xbuc.net/
And manually put them on the memory stick using a program such as horizon as currently there are no title updates/game updates that update your dae.bin so they are safe to use.
Then just wait out until LT3.0 is released

but to do so it tells me
that an update is required
is this update on the disc or i have to go online
my xbox was flashed last monday 5 days ago
if i do the update
is there going to be any problem with my flash ?

wait for the latest CFW and then re hack it.

Don’t update yet,
let the Offical CFW be released, then reflash to stock ( by updating) then rehack.
Also, if you update you will not be able to play copies.
