xbox 360 games

August 7th, 2016

hi guys, i just bought a 360, and i dont want to void any warranties by putting in a mod chip, so i was wondering if there is a way to burn games to a disk, and still be able to play them on the 360 without a mod chip. otherwise i will need to spend 100’s of dollars to buy games. please, someone help, thank you! i do not want to buy anything
Answer #1
The Xbox 360’s dvd drive has to be flashed, some guys are good at removing the cover without damaging the seal. Therefore you still get to keep your warranty.
Answer #2
yes if you take a hairdryer to the warrenty sticker it comes right off that what i did, after that i just put it on wax paper until i need to send it in to M$
Answer #3
ok, i could do that, but what is flashing the drive?
Answer #4
if you ever upgraded a bios? or upgraded a drive firmware it the same thing. All these electronics have a small chip of code that tells them what to do kida like a OS(windows, linux etc). upgrading these is called flashing.
Answer #5
You find out which drive you have, Lite-on, Benq, Samsung, or Hitachi. Then you buy the required tools and flash it. You could always give it to some others to flash it.
