Windows XP installation Problem

I am trying to install windows xp on my laptop lenovo t60p model SATA hard drive…
but while installation shows error “You have no hard drive to install windows xp” so please help me to install windows on my laptop with SATA drivers

Hey, actually I haven’t the answer you desire..
but I do not recommend you to install winXP. it�s outdated and Microsoft has stopped releasing security updates since like 2-3 years.. so you ARE at higher risk regarding like everything.. go with win7 or 8/8.1 !!

Yeah right! but I have some issue regarding internet LAN working fine on windows xp not working properly on windows 7 thats why i am asking

You could try setting your hdd controller to IDE instead of AHCI mode in bios, if you can.

They certainly have Windows 7 drivers available on the Lenovo site for both lan & wifi. I would try to go with Windows 7 instead of XP. The fact that it tells you there is no hdd to install to is probably related to there being no SATA drivers on the XP install disk you’re using.
