Windows 8 installation problem

January 20th, 2020

So I want to install Windows 8 onto my 1TB hard drive, instead of the one I’m currently using which is 500GB – you can see why.
The issue I am facing is that I have no USB stick big enough and I cannot write it to disc. So how can I install Windows to my other HDD via my current windows installation… I hope that made sense!
Thanks in advanced.

Is it really that difficult for you to buy some discs or a higher-capacity flash drive?
Seriously, Why make it more complicated than it actually is?
They’re cheap enough!
And just for the record, a standard DVD disc (4.7GB) or a 4GB flash drive would do (Provided you downloaded an untouched copy and not some AIO one at least!)
Btw, You might wanna give Windows 8.1 a try instead.

OP here, I posted on the wrong account before. Anyway:
I literally have no disposable income right now, so I can’t justify spending anything on a USB stick that I’d only use once. It’s also 11PM so I can’t get to any shops even if I wanted to
Anyway, I think I may have a solution. Surely I could write the ISO to a partition on my 1TB HDD and boot it from there? Or is that not possible?

Try unpacking the .iso into a folder on a different HD or partition then run set up ………. I did this with Windows XP but haven’t tried it on any other OS.
