Win 8 Downgrade

Hi, i have purchased a new laptop with windows 8 installed because my old laptop with windows 7 died on me, because windows 8 is utter crap (my opinion) is there any way to install windows 7 and use the legal key from my old laptop on my new one, i dont have windows 8 pro so i dont qualify for a free downgrade

No, the key you have on your laptop will be an OEM license, bound to the hardware it was on. You could just download a copy of 7 from here and install it, but first make sure there are Windows 7 compatible drivers for the model.

But If you want you can install XP or Vista or Seven in dual boot…

all you need is in this site for only $4.99 or trial http://www.stardock.com/products/start8/ I am not related or anything but I bought it and its been the best thing on windows 8 getting the start menu back and you can also remove the hot corners for windows 8 and the charms bar also in desktop mode. If you want to access your windows 8 apps just click on the start button from start8 and there should be something called windows 8 menu. So its perfect.
