Why do games do this
July 31st, 2013
what is going there?
also anti viruses have an in-game-mode or similarly called function which prevents false alarm
so what does the game do to trigger the anti virus?
It could be anything buddy. A change to the registry, movement of files. But mostly due to packing algorithms in the game. Some virus’s have these too, the anti-virus cant read the code, so it triggers an alarm, it is annoying i know!
mejby crack. Crack have virus
its the cracks or patches guys there not a virus but made the same way as a virus is made so they will think its one
yes, But do not worry, most are harmless
Its the cracks and patches that are recognise as virus not the actual game
you just gotta be careful

Well but its strange that anti-viruses have the game-play option. Cracks are not legal part of the game, why would anti-viruses count on something illegal
Because, what a crack (or a patch – same thing, except you don’t have to copy+paste the files into the location, or change the reg) is is it a modified .exe section of the game.
Some LAME DRM’s are:
Star Wars Battlefront II – you don’t hit launcher, you just go into \gamedata\ folder and click on BattleFrontII.exe and the game plays – see? What the launcher is doing, is starting the DRM before the game!
But cracking also puts the .exe out a bit… as we have to change code, it can also seem (or look) like virus’s… and 50% of the time, they are! Only if you get them from a trusted person – like Skidrow or Reloaded (the two big ones).
Or even SnD or FFF or cRUDE
They are probably false positives, on warez-bb you don’t really have to worry about viruses if you download from trusted uploaders.
yes Maximum Case in Crack keygen. and its false positive. doesn’t ham your PC.
Because they are exe files by which the program may run and cause virus replication(like a program). But never worry cracks are perfect! especially when they help us run our fav games

IMO the game play mode of an antivirus means that it does not send pop-ups or alerts which cause your game to pause and the alert to show up, its not that the firewall/av stops working during the game mode
thank you everyone for contribution… its clearer now
