Weird TV noise.

well, it�s weird…i physically just bought this tv about a good 2hrs ago. i hooked it up and everything was all fine and dandy. until about 5mins ago. there is the bit of a beep coming from the tv that wont stop unless i mute the sound or turn the TV off. i looked up this problem and people say some tubes in it could be cheaply made and a bunch of other stuff that related to taking it to a repair shop. the weird part is that it conflicts with the sound, aka: i turn up the volume to try and overpower it, and then it gets louder it self. or if i mute the tv, it goes away….it�s baffling…but any advice or help on maybe a home solution to probably get rid of the sound would be helpful. thanks!!
also, if i have no choice but to get it repaired then it�s pretty obvious isn�t it?

Yea Get it repaired because you can’t fix it with the remote.
It should have some kind of warranty right? since you just bought it.

you shouldnt need to get it repaired if you just bought it. you should be able to exchange it.
but a consistent beep many times is like a blinking led its telling you about an error or something. did you check the vendors website? it could just be a setting

bring it back to where u bought it/call tech support. ask to fix/replace it

all these suggestions are helpful! thanks alot.
odd problem though…it happens on and off all of a sudden. but it only happens when its on TV (cable). when i�m on any other input it does not make the (now) not-so-constant beep noise.
if it keeps bugging me i will easily exchange it before my warranty is up.
on a side note, it is the first TV i�ve bought for myself. so i should have thought about the exchanging and stuff BUT i do thank you guys for the help
