Watching Movies on ps3

Is there something you’ve to do on the settings of the playstation3 so when your watching movies off a data disk it does freeze the picture an the sound continues, any help would be appreciated!

What file type are you playing? The PS3 will play an AVI with Xvid encoding perfectly. Does the file play on your PC?

You can burn the AVI files here, them just popem em in and play em. Fit like 5 movies on one DVD.

Better with an External HDD. Right now I’m using a 500GB on PS3. Have over 200 Movies on it All Avi/Mp4 format .
