Vista 64-bit. Is it worth it?

Thanks!
Go for 64 bit…there a few compatibility problems..But there aren’t many…
Thanks for the reply. Another question. I can get a valid unused legal key for vista and I understand the 32-bit key also works for the 64-bit version, but unfortunately I have been unable to find an untouched copy of 64-bit. So I broke down and downloaded a copy of a dell oem ultimate vista. Would it be safe to install it on a non-dell or would there be problems?
What key you have? Retail or OEM…
Preactivated or OEM are no different from a retai untoutchet Vista…Just open the vita iso with ultraiso…delete the subfolder ($OEM$): SOURCES\$OEM$
I don’t know if the key is considered retail or oem. It is a msdn key.
so most programs should be compatible with 64-bit vista? I just got a new laptop with 64-bit and don’t know if I should install the 32-bit version. So far I’m having compatibility issue with NOD32. Even though some claim it’ll(the 32-bit) work with 64-bit, it actually doesn’t. Anyone can find me a version of NOD32 that can update with no problem? I have tried a few but those can’t update.
Definitely worth it. Go for it. I changed over to 64 bit last month and I’m never going back to 32 bit. Better performance and utilization of memory in the OS. Your 32 bit apps will work with it but with the same performance, and 64 bit apps will perform a lot better. Every app I used in 32 bit Vista was compatible in 64 bit so you shouldn’t have a problem there. As for a “key”, in 64 bit, the only crack that works flawlessly is the OEM Vista Loader. For 32 bit, it’s the Developer Activation crack.
i like my x64… almost no compatibility problems
cool..I guess I’ll stick with 64-bit, still need to find a working patched NOD32 though.
