Firefox stores the history data in a file appropriately called “history.dat”; this file can be found in the Firefox Profile folder (If you’re an XP user, the location of the file will look something like this: “C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\h96641qz.default\history.dat“).
Get the downloaded program to read history.dat, and there you go.

Try:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/mozillahistoryview.zip
It has an export as text option.
Simply highlight and then choose “save” from the menu to export as text.
It is working for me for your information.

That’s quite a lot of history. You should clear it every once in a while Even so, just sort by date and try to remember which dates you need history from. If you know the month at least, I’m sure that would narrow it down a good bit.

You just want to export all the links in your history right? This is the easiest way…
1. Show All History (Ctrl+Shift+H)
2. Organise>Select All
3. Organise>Copy
4. Open notepad, paste, save.
